  12. be done without recompilation.

  17. SHOULD be.

  22. writing GUI libraries and standards rather than writing applications with
  23. refined, consistent, object-oriented GUI libraries.

  27. Agreed.   Unfortuneatly that is.  A set of standard objects, like the NeXT
  28. application kit could easily have taken care of everything we arguing about
  29. and wishing for and would make program writing a snap.
